Ikon was tasked with rebranding Community Care Northern Beaches (CCNB), a not-for-profit support service provider. The aim was to expand their purpose and reach beyond their grassroots origins. Our thorough renaming process involved extensive client collaboration and research.
We analysed the competitive landscape, business goals, and broader care industry. We then defined the Brand Value Proposition and strategic pillars, exploring naming options. Detailed due diligence included trademark checks and URL availability.
Finally, a shortlist of names was independently tested via quantitative research to identify which performed best. Our recommendation, ProvedaCare, scored very strongly. This name blends ‘Proveda’ (meaning ‘for life’) with ‘Care’, honouring the company’s legacy. This memorable name alludes to ‘provider care’, a strategically sound way to explain – and future-proof – the core business.
